Wrist injury
So over the weekend, I had a tennis tournament. I haven't been playing that much so I was put into the 3.0 division. I breezed through it quite easily. I had a semifinal match against this one kid who seemed quite cocky so I decided to have as much fun as I could with this match. During the match I felt my wrist start to hurt a little, I had wrist problems before but never during tennis. So fast forward and it was the final point of the match. I decided to end the match with an ace and did exactly just that. I never had that much fun in a match before.
I just finished my SF match and I was resting for my Finals match but my wrist started hurting like crazy. I decided to ice it, but it didn't help. In fact, I think it made it worse. I couldn't add much spin or power to my shots, it hurt to slice, I couldn't hit my one hand backhands as much, and worst of all was I was barely able to serve.
It was the worst match I have ever played. I didn't like the way my opponent played, his balls would be short and I didn't get that many rallies in. On top of that, I couldn't play my best, it was the worst match I ever played. I knew I could have won but at the end of the day, my opponent was better.
After that, my wrist was just bad. Bending it would hurt, I would wake up to an excruciating pain akin to the feeling of someone about to snap my wrist off, and it would make these gross popping sounds.
